Gua Sha
Gua sha is a traditional healing technique that originated in China and has been used for thousands of years. It involves using a smooth-edged tool, such as a ceramic spoon or a jade stone, to gently scrape the skin in a downward motion along specific areas of the body, typically the back, neck, shoulders, and face.
Gua sha is often used to alleviate pain and tension in the muscles, reduce inflammation, and promote lymphatic drainage. Gua sha can also be used as a facial treatment to sculpt the face, reduce puffiness, and relieve sinus pressure. It is also believed to have detoxifying and immune-boosting effects on the body.
