Auricular Acupuncture

There are over two hundred acupuncture points on the ear! This microsystem reflects both the internal and external aspects of the body and thus can be used to treat a variety of conditions. Research via Functional MRI (FMRI) shows that Auricular Acupuncture sends signals to the brain that correspond with the zone on the ear that is being stimulated by the applied needle. Each point treated connects to the nervous system to block pain receptors, release endorphins, and affect change in the targeted area. Auricular acupuncture has been shown to be effective for most chronic complaints including chronic musculoskeletal pain, menstrual disorders, digestive problems, sciatica, and mental health disorders.
